Looking for help in restarting my Marvel 2099 mugen game project

A few years back, I was collaborating with some MUGEN spriters/stagers on doing a Marvel 2099-based full mugen game.  Hopefully, the first of many games, called "Marvel 2099: Fall of the Hammer," based on the comic line's first crossover storyline.

It was going great for awhile, but the group eventually disbanded (can't recall why).  I acted as manager of the group, letting in new workers who wanted to help, coming up with the written story/layout outline of the game, things like that (as I don't know how to MUGEN-program, but know almost everything about the 2099 comics, and have played enough Capcom fighter games to know a good layout for a 2099 incarnation).

During the game's production, I posted this early-work video for the project on youtube:

Check "sexyhotlowrider"'s last message.  Is this person correct?  Any advice or help anyone can give me on reviving this project?  I still have the Fall of the Hammer crossover comic-page scans in Files of the staff yahoo group, for reference.  As I have all the comics, more can be provided.

The reason I've been putting off getting the project back underway is I'm already heavily-involved with 2 major fanfic groups, writing and site-maintenance.  I was hoping to get them caught up as much as possible, so I could focus on 2099 mugen again, but they're still taking up too much of my time, and I don't want to see this project die.

Thanks.

Holy crap I remember this. It's good to have you back!

Really hope this project can get some more people involved. A lot of these characters, while the gameplay may not have been the best, I recall all the sprites looking very nice. At the very least, I can test and give feedback. Good luck!

Just try to keep things peaceful.
