Not quitting character creation yet till i convert my favourite characters.

Man, you weren't joking when you said that KoF Joe was better. I wasn't much of a Joe user ever, but I can tell that he didn't even have half of his moves in CvS2...


Can't wait to see the results of this when he's complete. ;D

Hurricane Upper (Normal hard version,2 short range hurricanes)

Golden Heel (Classic,only 1 version,focused vertically and attack while coming down,based on RB Fatal Fury Special)


The fx are currently just temporary placeholders,i'll replace them after the character is finished with high quality ones.

I'm definitely going all-out on him as im aiming for the best joe ever (as i did with k') :sugoi:

Only 1 more special (Pressure Knee) remaining.

I would like to ask opinions if i should keep Pressure Knee in both Normal and Classic version or just in Classic version since Pressure Knee is not available in KoF and was only available in RB Fatal Fury 1 and Special.

Resolved problem described in previous update : Pressure knee's Normal Version has custom Weak,Medium and Heavy versions with varying velocities and toned down damage while the Classic version has the original version with only 1 version with larger damage.

It's going pretty quick since i've based him off K' as a template and i've compiled all his information + data before starting the character + abundance of time and more experience.

Completed Screw Upper.

LV.1 Screw Upper


No LV.2 pic since its basically Joe moving a bit forward while unleashing the hurricane (the same version as using C while performing screw upper except with more damage)

It's a autocombo with many of joe's specials combined,so the screenshots might not be impressive :P

Completed Shijou Saikyou no Low Kick,its one of Joe's most powerful and tactical moves since it can only be crouch blocked and has very huge damage while its weakness is its long startup time and short range (which is increased in lv.2 and lv.3 versions)

It can also be charged and it was only available in 99,2k and 2k1.

Credit goes to Mr.Fong for the shine knuckle/rising force hi-res fx (which was used in terry and now joe)

Reason for adding it now instead of later like other fx?

In KOF,the giant wave-thingy is embedded with joe,luckily there were unused joe sprites in 2k2 which were seperate from the giant wave-thingy and the shine knuckle/rising force fx fits perfectly.

Double update in one day since this super was too easy :P

Completed The World's Most Explosive Punch (2K3 LDM which is now a LV.2-only super)

It is unblockable and has autoguard on upper body before the explosion,but it has really short range and the hitbox/clsn1 lasts only for 4 ticks.

Already implemented the high-res explosion for this one too since i already had it in my k' template.






Whats Left?

-LV.3-only Double Cyclone/Cross Gigantes (DC in CvS2,CG in KoF)
-Remaining High-res FX.

Joe is finally 100%.

Completed the final LV.3 super,Double Cyclone/Cross Gigantes (CvS2,KoF2K2) but uses CvS2 voice since its better.

Beta testing which will be done soon once i make some final tweaks.

I'm sorry but now Joe is really 100% complete.

Added Turbulence Upper from Fatal Fury Wild Ambition thanks to Ironmugen's help.








Added Thunder Fire from RB Fatal Fury 2,no screenshots since its more of a chain of specials (those who have played RB FF2 will know what it looks like)

Added Screw Upper and Double Cyclone/Cross Gigantes Classic as well (stationary hurricanes instead of moving ones)

Also added CvS2 flames (now hi-res) to Tiger Kick.
