MegaMan II was the most widely circulated of all the classic GameBoy games, which is why everyone thinks they all sucked.

Gameplay: Suffering from many of the same problems as its predecessor, small screen and monochrome background, this game really didn't improve on anything. The only real thing in this game that makes it better than its predecessor is the fact you can slide. In addition, the new weapon in this game, the Sakugarne, is rather pointless.

Music: MegaMan II is legendary for its bad music. Most of it doesn't even sound like music, more like weird distorted beeps trying to form a melody and failing horribly.

Translation: Like the previous game there is nothing to translate.

Length: This game actually has stages for the latter 4 Robot Masters. So it does slightly better than its predecessor here.

Rehash Factor: Like the preceding game, 8 returning bosses and only two new bosses. The music is new, but in this case that's a bad thing.

Plot: Just about anything involving time travel is doomed to suck, case in point: Quantum Leap, Mario and Luigi II, Chrono Cross, and a lot of old Star Trek episodes. That aside, the game doesn't explain much about anything except Wily ends up with MegaMan from the future and makes him into the paradoxically weaker Quint. In addition this was never explored in later MegaMan games leaving it to be so very bad.

(right up there with BN4)

Difficulty: Compared to its predecessor, laughably easy.

X6, X7 and BN4 have some stiff competition it looks.

Positive: MetalMan, and through proxy, Metal Blade!

Negative: TopMan, and through proxy..... Top fucking Spin.
