For those of you who thought I'd be moving on to X games now, tough shit.

Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty much the same as the first two NES games. However it is on the monochrome gameboy screen so all details are shot to hell in some areas of the game. In addition the size of the sprites were kept the same, but the screen is smaller, so you have less maneuvering room, painfully obvious in some areas.

Music: The first four stages feature remixes of their NES counterparts. Surprisingly these remixes are actually in better quality than the originals; yes the Gameboy's sound hardware is apparently better than the NES's, go figure. The 5 new tracks aren't too bad either.

Length: This game has six stages. That's it. I do think it holds the record for shortest MegaMan game ever.

Rehash Factor: CutMan, FireMan, IceMan and ElecMan return from MegaMan 1. And QuickMan, FlashMan, HeatMan and BubbleMan return from MegaMan 2. There are only two new bosses in the whole game. In addition the first 4 stages have remixes of their NES counterparts. The only really redeeming factor here is that the stages are different, even then...

Plot: Dr. Wily wants revenge... wait didn't we do this in MegaMan 2? Why yes we did. Rehashed plot how sad. Anyways he sends 4 of his dudes out to cause havoc and shit and the other 4 stay at his base watching TV and eating chips. In addition he built some n00b named Enker.

Difficulty: Due to the monochrome-ness and the small screen, this one can be pretty hard. In addition the final boss constantly launches enemies at you.

Ouch.

Positive: It's the only game ever that has FireMan and HeatMan in it creating a temporal paradox destroying the universe.

Negative: QUICKMAN.
