The evil team is called Team Plasma apparently.

Ten bucks says they're trying to summon a legendary god Pokemon and use it's dark powers to take over the world/fuck up the worlds ecosystem so their favorite Pokemon type can be happy.

I miss Team Rocket.

You first encounter Team Plasma in Karakusa Town. As a team, they seem to empathize with Pokemon and talk about "liberating" them.

So Team Plasma is the Pokemon equivalent of PETA. Discuss.
