Still waiting on the press kit, but so far, it seems like it's legit. Although from what I heard from the technicians, people weren't really excited about it, so I'm assuming at this point what was shown was pretty bad.

One of my side jobs is being a technician for events, so I've got a few contacts that way. I unfortunately couldn't do the Capcom one due to school restraints + the fact that most of the technicians on that event have bigger reputations than I do.

People won't like MvC3 because they'll say "MvC2 was better" regardless of whether or not MvC3 actually is better.

2) Why does Ryu's Shinkuu Hadou Ken look almost exactly like the one from TvC?

The shaders used on each character, Capcom's Seth Killian said, are what really make all of the characters so visually distinct in motion. Even Capcom's Ryu, he pointed out, is brought out in a new way with the help of the shaders.
