Crappy Frankensprites Done in MS Paint
« on: April 07, 2009, 06:45:36 PM »
First off is a batch of Mary Sue self insert sprites.

It takes a good degree of vanity to do this.  At least there is some accuracy in it though.

I do own a tengu mask, have since I was in elementary school.
I do own a pimp green coat like that.
Unfortunately there isn't a character with KOF sprites of the right body type to be completely accurate.  Chang and Earthquake are the biggest and they are WAY too fat.

Left to right:

Win pose/taunt, grapple move, aerial projectile/neckbreaker, parry/projectile, Midnight Bliss, intro, intro/dodge, win pose/intro.

I think for something done in Paint it's decent, but can never compare to the kind of stuff done with better programs.

Jin's open source so he's cool with people editing his sprites I suppose.

More to come later.

You underestimate the power of Paint.
