MvC2 script updated with hitbox viewer. Because there's 188 projectiles (and Cap's shield for P1-P6), I decided to have the object list dynamically populate. It may not be sorted, but it's better than having to scroll through nearly 200 objects.

Probably the most important update ever.

CvS2 System
  • New hitvels that get the correct overall distance. Some combos in system conversion chars and Bluestreak may no longer work.
  • Updated dash/run buffering.

M. Bison
  • Accurate CvS2 CLSNs.
  • Fixed Gigaton Blow velocity and number of hits should be 9 now.

Eagle
  • Accurate CvS2 CLSNs.

Updated the VS/SFA3 script with the new UI. You can now select projectiles and it should tell you which ones are active so you can pay attention.

Yo!

So today is not a conventional MUGEN release. Rather, these are two scripts (still a work in progress, so the links may update at any given moment!).

What are they? They're tools to help you collect data from games!

Features:
  • P1 and P2 velocities
  • P1 and P2 positions
  • Change in velocities
  • Copy active hitboxes to clipboard

Vampire Savior/Vampire Savior 2/Vampire Hunter 2/Street Fighter Zero 3 tool (Requires WinKawaks 1.62, other emulators will eventually be added!)
MvC2 tool (Requires DEmul 0.7a_310715)
CvS2/CFJ tool (Requires PCSX2 1.2.1 r5875)

MvC2 Tool Notes
Has a hacky framestep feature to ease hitbox-grabbing.

CvS2/CFJ Tool Notes
Has a framestep feature and hitbox viewer. Tested on NTSC-U CvS2 and NTSC-U and PAL CFJ. Remember to scale CLSNs for characters that are not CPS2 sprites or have been manually rescaled! Do not rely on the framestep for timings, they will always be in normal! Use PCSX2's video recording function if you want those.
The script will lag upon clicking "Start Diagnostics." This is normal. The reason for it is because it is scanning for the throw breakpoints. To get them, select a character with an air throw (such as Raiden with his DP+P), perform the regular ground throw until the breakpoint list pops up, then perform the air throw until the breakpoint changes (this is easy to see if you just select any random thing in the list; once the air throw causes it to select a green item in the list, you're good to go and the lag should stop).

Dee Jay has been released, and all Capcom vs. SNK 2 characters have been updated!

System Changes:
  • Added command buffering. HUGE thanks goes to Vans for the base system and the Dolphin emulator team for making an emulator with framestep!
  • Added AI. That's the main reason this update took so long. Everybody needed it, and I had to code it for everybody. I hope it leaves you sufficiently salty.
  • Switched to 1.0 officially. It's time people moved on.
  • Proper jump behavior.
  • Fixed bug in EX-Groove that always enabled air guard if Counter Movement was activated.
  • Proper turbo adjustments.
  • Removed all velmuls in system movements in favor of veladds, like Capcom always does.
  • Fixed Custom Combo so that they can enter specials and supers anytime from basics (just like in CvS2)
  • Fixed all hittimes and pausetimes (except Bluestreak because a lot of that was designed pretty tightly and I didn't want to break anything)

Eagle:
  • Added play-through-animation code that they actually did with him a lot.
  • Fixed damage for Eagle's throws. Can't believe I forgot to change the values from... whoever I based him on.
  • Fixed dash velocities.

Felicia:
  • New run animation.
  • Lots of movement adjustments.

Andy:
  • Complete recode. He plays entirely different to how he did before.

M. Bison:
  • Fixed hittimes for Crazy Buffalo. Lvl.2 cancels should work more properly now.

Bluestreak:
  • Just general bug fixes for any that might have been brought up.
  • Added AI by Tunglashor. Thanks!
