Gotta "love" the double standards (and few other things) of certain companies and their certain agendas when it's pretty much revealed recently that the MEPs who are said interests' bitches pretty much copy and paste their proposals into the proposed amendments into the proposed privacy reform. A reform which - surprise surprise - would only serve it's actual authors. Authors who aren't even residing in Europe.

Mostly developed and tested in Poland to boot, as if that hellhole of a country wouldn't make me any more embarrased of living in it it's honestly on par with India now.

Yes. It had to be done. The long awaited update for Giygas finally have been arrived. And to be honest, most of the work I have done was on the additional winposes and minigames, but suffice to say, I've managed to do much more progress on the update than I've expected, to the point that I did enough stuff to merit an update.

But wait, here's more! While I was struggling to work on the Giygas update until I've unexpectedly made some progress, I was working on two characters just in case to make up for me not delivering with the update. Firstly, we have another Battle Monster, this time it's an undead glam skeletal warrior (speaking of Battle Monsters, I gave Kaf Ka a minor update, and I usually don't do these minor updates unless these are critical, but when a fellow Battle Monster was coming, why not?). Secondly, we Arcana Heart character. Your eyes are not deceiving. You've expected it to be my first female character I've mugenized, and you'd be right if it's not for..... her being missing for some reason. Don't worry tho', her imaginary "brother" is still there, still willing to search through various places just to find his creator. Again, your eyes are not deceiving.

(Not posting Giygas pics here so you'd see what's new by yourself)
Kafka changelog:
-Added compatibility for Deathmask's Hammer throw and Blizzard's Friggin Ripoff of Sheeva
-Counter hits grant extra hittimes
-Cleaned up the big portrait
-Learned the AI about the Healing Stamp

Giygas changelog:
-Decreased the range of the wall of darkness even further
-Narrowed the side wave attacks a bit further
-During the death pit minigame, the screen would flash a certain color depending on pressing the correct button or not
-Four new minigames
-Five new winposes
-Slowed down the "pissed off energy wave barrage" a bit

A company that previously tried to sell an over-price laptop that doesn't perform that well compared to what can be bought for around the similar price are trying to sell DRM'd mice. As in, Mice with walking spyware of drivers that make the mice only work if the internet connection is on. Dead serious. What this world had come to....

So, you were expecting that I give Giygas an update, eh? Can't blame you, as I wanted to give it the treatment too, yet due to the factors that were out of control, I wasn't able to do enough for the update to merit a release in time, and I'll admit, it's not doing me any favors as it's frankly too long since I've promised an update somewhere. Oh well, at least i've managed to complete the update for The Icon as well.

  • Remodelled the damage dampener
  • Tweaked most of basic attacks
  • New stading hard attack (with the old one becoming a command normal)
  • Gave lag times to crouching medium and hard attacks
  • Slightly increased lag time on the special move now known as "Man Dies Jumping On His Head"
  • New special moves
  • A super is now actually animated!
  • The crane is slightly nerfed, redrawn and given sound cues
  • Recoded the AI
  • Imrpoved quality of some effects
  • Made the first part of "Man Dies Jumping On His Head" an overhead
  • New intro, win and lose poses
  • Liedown shatter effect given
  • A bunch of palettes given
  • Some other stuff I forgot to mention

Gotta admit, it's been quite a while since the last time I touched upon the character that kinda put me into the map, so the update is pretty expansive. So let's repaste the changelog straight outta the readme, shall we?
-Mostly applied the new gravity
-Redone the damage dampening
-More voices
-AI redone
-Air throw given
-New special move given
-New super given
-Simplified CLSNs a bit
-Vans's cornerpush system implemented
-Tweaked many hitvelocities and hittimes
-Rising roundhouse kick now special-cancellable with proper timing
-Holding down during running now results in a roll
-Some special moves now super-cancellable on hit
-Made the inferno kick and the Fast Food Rain overheads
-Changed the commands for crouching high kick and okizeme punch
-Did some tweaks that should make juggling into Fast Food Rain more reliable
-Wallbounce added for Strong Shadow Kick
-Forward kick retains a bit of running momentum
-KOF-esque superjumps implemented
-Counter hits grant 25% damage bonus
-Counter hits also grant most moves at least 15% (more for Standing Hard Punch and Weak Shadow Kick) hittime bonus
-Gave a certain special property to the Upward fist
-Guard cancels given
-Few other tweaks I'm not sure are worth mentioning

Well, I'm not sure if the thing in question is related/attached to the law that just got passed, but I did hear about the lawmaker's intents to give manga publishers equal ownership rights alongside the author, allowing them to go after fanworks even if the author gives approval.

-Ubisoft stripped Splinter Cell's identity to the point that I'm puzzled that people outside of Ubisoft's staff still think it would going to be a Splinter Cell game.
-iD software called Epic Games, they want their use of that A Perfect Circle song after Rage commercials back
-What we've seen of Black Ops 2 was rather uneventful
-Angry Birds Castles
-360 getting it's own Wii-U tablet ripoff
-Nike+ Kinect something
