What I don't get is how they'd rob a convenience store and shoot a police officer. A true terrorist wouldn't do something that stupid to ruin their plans. Sure, you could say that crazy people don't act under reason, but... this really is bizarre. I'm not saying there's a conspiracy or anything, but something just doesn't seem right.

I think they were just random madmen. It's strange to say, but that's the best case scenario.
