Found a little bug.  As Fire Mega Man, reach one of those points where you can go into a sky world.  Try to charge there.  Mega Man will go invisible until you fire.

Mega Man's slide isn't right, you can't change directions mid slide or jump cancel.

Version 1.1 due June 25th.

Changes:
Mega Man's jump now is as low as it is in the Mega Man games, he now has Rush Coil to compensate.
Samus can crouch ala every Metroid game that isn't the NES one.
Simon can change jump trajectory in air.
Link can attack in new directions.
Game has difficulty settings and cheats. Hard difficulty replaces Goombas with Buzzy Beetles like the original game.

Not really the same argument, I'm going to assume that's a fangame with mostly new content. This is a fangame with new content but contains the entirety of Super Mario Bros. for free, which Nintendo still makes money off of by re-releasing every few years.

Plus the resources to make your own.  Probably the biggest mario sprite rip collection EVER.

Mega Man can now slide cancel like he should be able to and Rush works well enough, think his palette is wrong though. Haven't had the time to check anything else out.

3.0 released, new skins from Mario games and other oldies (NES, GB, SNES) heck, it's got Atari skins for characters and maps including new levels straight from Super Mario Bros. Special (not Lost Levels for NES, the PC version that is)

Also I finished playing it recently.

Forgot we had this thread or I would've posted in it.

I played through in the various Simon skins as well as Hayabusa in one stage. I just had to finish that run with Mario in the last stage, though. It's great to have the level designs of SMB Special in an engine that makes it actually PLAYABLE.


Also Fusion made the NES Richter skin so USE IT.

Yeah I know. Last time I checked through a YT video, it was a terrible attempt at a port to the PC. Damn those screens skipping instead of scrolling.
