Post by: UHMEEEEBA on December 05, 2008, 11:40:21 AM
Yeah, I just wanted to have an excuse for making a thread with that title really. (http://corrupt, adulterating shitbags.com/5102283/a-next-metal-gear-is-green)

Here's all the fun stuff I've heard:

Supporting a new MGS game or MGS4 on the 360:
- It's green.  Therefore it's 360.
- See above, people saying that the ! can represent the 360, as a tower with a beacon of light.  Also, green.
- The symbol at the end is the same as the power button on the 360, and it's green.
- The i and ! are both rotated 180 degrees from each other.  Count each of the points as 1 and you get "A NEXT METAL GEAR IS 4 360"

Supporting a DS Metal Gear of some sort:
- Metal Gear Solid games usually don't have a ! as part of their title.  Metal Gear Ac!d uses this.
- The "i".  DSi.
- The layout of the image. (http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/corrupt, adulterating shitbags/2008/12/next_metal_gear.jpg)  "i + !"

Also.

We all know games based on movies suck, and vice versa. (http://www.cinemablend.com/new.php?id=11262)

You never know.  Remember Tom & Jerry: The Movie?

That's kind of a bad comparison.

That's kind of a bad comparison.

Creator of the series also worked on the movie.

I know that. Still not too good a comparison.

If Kojima is working closely with the director, then the movie should have his vision.
