No wonder everybody pirates Electronic Arts-published games. (http://corrupt, adulterating shitbags.com/5070957/backtalk-in-eas-forums-get-banned-from-your-games)
Isn't this illegal under US Law?
A company reserves the right to refuse service if they violate the ToS
True, but it also violates freedom of speech; then again, schools won't let you swear, your job won't tolerate you talking shit about the place for which you work, etc.
Regardless, this is indeed going over the top.
Restaurants can kick you out for wearing offensive or extremely distracting clothing.
The problem is that laws created for such cases apply over the internet as well (which makes no sense)
The problem is that EA's trying to do a parent's job, and is taking the responsibility OF the parents as well.
This is going to simply end with even MORE piracy of their games. Or open hacking, just to get rid of the crap that EA stuffs down your computer's throat (SecuROM).
Someone should put EA into the Tv Tropes's Small Name Big Ego (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SmallNameBigEgo) list.
I suggest you rename the topic. (http://corrupt, adulterating shitbags.com/5072192/ea-getting-banned-in-forums-does-not-get-you-banned-in-our-games)
LET'S LET THIS DIE
