Because Capcom just isn't vs. enough things lately. (http://corrupt, adulterating shitbags.com/5591240/rumor-namco-vs-capcom-capcom-vs-namco-in-development) This is probably fake but if isn't sources say they'll announce both soon. That is to say both companies have their own way of doing things both company would produce a game, a 2d one by Capcom using the SFIV engine and headed by Ono (supposedly also his secret project) and a 3d one by Namco in the style of Tekken.
The idea of both companies doing it makes me think this is a horrible joke.
If it's real, we'll never see it in the US. Namco, remember?
